This aircraft c/n 99, a V.748D, was built for CAA - Central African Airways as VP-YNB and first flew on Saturday, 5 May 1956 at Hurn, Bournemouth, Dorset, England.

This old slide scan shows my wife and son arriving in Bulawayo from Jo'burg. Notice the Air Rhodesia DC-3 on the apron.
