Arik Air is to add the UAE to its network for the first time,
From 28 July, the Nigerian carrier will fly from Abuja to Dubai via Lagos.
The service will be operated five times weekly. Arik plans to use an Airbus A330-200 on the route, in a two-class configuration.
Innovata schedules show this will be the only direct scheduled link between the Nigerian capital and Dubai, although Emirates operates to two other cities in the African nation: Kano and Lagos.
