Dublin Aerospace has gained European Aviation Safety Agency and US Federal Aviation Administration approval for base maintenance on Airbus A330 widebodies.

The Irish MRO says the approval includes all engine types. General Electric CF6, Pratt & Whitney PW4000 and Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines power the A330 models currently in service: the -200 and -300.

The A330 joins narrowbody families the A320 and 737 among the aircraft types for which Dublin Aerospace offers MRO services.

“This new expansion was customer driven as many of our existing leasing company and airline customers also operate the A330 model,” says head of sales Frank Burke.
