JetBlue Airways will add a second daily seasonal flight between San Francisco International airport and Austin-Bergstrom International airport starting 21 May.
The low-cost carrier will also add a second daily nonstop flight between San Francisco International airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport on the same day. Both routes will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft.
The announcement comes a day after Virgin America unveiled plans to add nonstop flights from San Francisco to Austin, also commencing on 21 May.
SkyWest Airlines also offers daily nonstop flights between San Francisco and Austin, Innovata schedules show.
