JetBlue Airways and Silver Airways will expand its codeshare to cover the latter's flights to the Bahamas from Florida.

New York-based JetBlue plans to place its code on Silver's flights from Fort Lauderdale to Bimini, Freeport, George Town, Governor's Harbour, Marsh Habour, North Eleuthera and Treasure Cay. It will also place its code on Silver's flights from Orlando to Freeport, Marsh Habour and North Eleuthera, as well as from Jacksonville, Tampa and West Palm Beach to Marsh Harbour.

JetBlue currently serves Nassau in the Bahamas.

The two carriers launched a codeshare partnership earlier this year, covering Silver's flights within Florida.
