A Beechcraft King Air 200 crashed onto the top of a FlightSafety International building on 30 October near the Mid-Continent International airport in Wichita, Kansas, killing at least four, injuring several others and leaving some missing, airport officials confirmed.
The King Air with at least one occupant crashed into the FlightSafety building at 9:45am, the airport says.
Two people were initially confirmed dead inside the heavily damaged building, as walls and ceilings collapsed after being struck by the 5,770kg (12,500lb) aircraft. Another five injured people were taken to the hospital.
But police and airport officials later confirmed a total of four had died with more people still missing.
As of 12:45pm, Wichita firefighters had the blaze under control.
The crash did not impact commercial traffic at Mid-Continent airport. Beechcraft assembles the King Air 200 at a factory on the other side of the city.
