Embraer has secured firm orders from three airlines and one aircraft lessor for a total of 50 E-Jets, evenly split between the current generation and the E2 variants, the Brazilian airframer disclosed today at the Paris air show.
Aircastle has made firm commitments to 15 Embraer 190-E2s and 10 E195 E2s, taking options for an additional 25 across the two variants.
The lessor's firm orders, which have a list-price value of $2.6 billion, bring the E2 total to 267, Embraer says.
United Airlines has placed a firm order for 10 E175s, taking options on an additional 18, while Alaska Airlines has ordered eight E175s to be operated by SkyWest Airlines. United and Embraer did not immediately respond to enquiries about which regional carrier will operate United's aircraft.
The manufacturer also confirms firm orders for seven E190s plus 10 options from Chinese start-up Colorful Guizhou.
China's aviation regulatory authority in May granted that carrier preliminary approval to begin operations.
