Qatar Airways will next year boost frequencies on its services from Doha to both Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen airport and its recently started Edinburgh route.

From 29 March, the airline will operate twice-daily Airbus A320 service to Turkey’s second busiest airport. Qatar currently serves Sabiha Gokcen daily, in addition to operating 10 flights a week to Istanbul Ataturk.

On 1 May, Qatar will increase its five-weekly Doha-Edinburgh service to daily, citing strong demand for the route. The airline serves Edinburgh, which it opened in May, with a Boeing 787.
