KLM and China Southern Airlines have signed a co-operation agreement which enables both airlines to expand their services between China and The Netherlands. Qantas will continue to operate Perth-Tokyo services direct, after lobbying by the Western Australian Government not to route flights via Sydney. United Airlines will begin daily non-stop flights from Washington Dulles to Oakland International in October. Air Canada has launched new daily Vancouver-Miami services using an Airbus A319, and Toronto-Jacksonville using a Bombardier CRJ. Delta Air Lines plans to codeshare on British European flights beyond London Gatwick, initially to Guernsey, Jersey and Northern Ireland beginning on 1 September. Vietnam Airlines is to launch thrice-weekly flights to Beijing in September and Kunming in October with Airbus A320s. Asiana is launching services between Seoul and Nanjing. Planet Airways is inaugurating a new daily service between Florida and San Juan in Puerto Rico from October. All Nippon Airways has been given clearance to start non-stop flights between Tokyo Haneda and Urumqi, China, beginning in September. Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines is to introduce thrice daily round-trip services between Louisville and Orlando from this September with CRJs. US low-cost carrier JetBlue Airways will increase flights to Florida by 35% in the fourth quarter, adding six daily flights between New York Kennedy and Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers and West Palm Beach. JetBlue will begin serving Long Beach Airport and Oakland International from Washington Dulles in October with daily, non-stop flights. Tour operator Vacation Express and charter provider Flightserv.com have selected Orlando Sanford International in Florida as the hub for services between the eastern and midwestern USA and the Caribbean. Beginning in mid-December, each Friday, Saturday and Sunday, six aircraft will originate in Atlanta.
