Russian flag-carrier Aeroflot has approved a plan to acquire 13 Airbus A320-family jets from new lessor Aerospace International Group.
The agreement covers six A320s and seven A321s. No engine type has been disclosed.
Aeroflot says it will take delivery of the aircraft from the second quarter of 2016 to the second quarter of 2017.
Aerospace International Group placed an order with Airbus for 14 aircraft in December last year, covering 10 A320s and four A321s.
Aeroflot approved the acquisition of the 13 twinjets during a board meeting on 27 March.
Its fleet plans for the year also involve equipping six Airbus A330s and four Boeing 777s with its on-board Internet service.
