Airbus is to display one of the flight-test A350-900 aircraft at the MAKS Moscow air show next month.

The airframer is to send its first prototype, MSN1, to the Russian show which will be held at Ramenskoye at the end of August.

Organisers of the show state that the aircraft will participate for three days and depart on 28 August.

Russian flag-carrier Aeroflot is a customer for the A350 with an order for 22 of the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-powered type including 14 -900s.

Aeroflot has yet to determine its plans for the eight A350-800s which remain on Airbus’s backlog.

Airbus has previously displayed at the biennial MAKS show with aircraft including the A380.
