AVICI's Chengdu Aircraft displayed a full-size mock-up of its FC-1/Super-7 lightweight fighter being jointly developed with Pakistan. Prototype production began in September and first flight is due late next year. Pakistan plans to acquire up to 150 aircraft. China hopes to secure sales of the low-cost supersonic fighter in Africa, the Middle East and South America.
