The month of January 2015 has been the lowest in commercial aircraft orders since August 2013. Net orders came in at only 44 while 2 swaps also occurred.

Japan Airlines ordered 32 Mitsubishi MRJ90 regional jets while All Nippon Airways (ANA) ordered five Boeing 737-800s. In the US, regional carrier Horizon Air ordered two Dash 8s. Five A330 widebodies were also ordered by a yet undisclosed customer.

Overall, the commercial aircraft order backlog ended January at 14,359, down 111 on the previous month.
