Cargolux Airlines is seeking US Export Import Bank (Ex-Im) support to cover its upcoming Boeing 747 aircraft deliveries, according to the export credit agency.

The Luxemburg-based carrier operates 10 747-400F and six 747-8F aircraft and has seven 747-8F deliveries scheduled through the end of 2014.

In November, Private Export Funding closed financing on a new Boeing 747-8F for Cargolux.

The US bank acted as arranger for the 12-year Ex-Im guaranteed deal.
