Taiwan's Eva Air has extended its component maintenance contract with Lufthansa Technik to include equipment on its Boeing 777 fleet.

The German MRO specialist has been supporting components on Eva Air's 747s and Airbus A330s for several years, and added A321s to that arrangement in 2014.

Now, the two parties have signed a new support contract that also includes the airline's 777-300ERs and on-order A330-300s, says Lufthansa Technik.

The deal covers equipment overhauls, spare-parts pool access and engineering services.

Eva Air's fleet comprises 13 A321s, 14 A330s, 11 747s, 19 777-300ERs, an MD-11F, three MD-90s, a Beechcraft 1900 turboprop commuter and a 737 BBJ, Flightglobal's Ascend Fleets database shows.
