Russian carrier Transaero is to order 12 Airbus A330neos and eight baseline A330s.
Airbus says the agreement is contained in a letter of intent with the Moscow-based airline.
No engine selection has been given for the A330s. The A330neos will be fitted with Rolls-Royce Trent 7000s.
Airbus has not given a delivery date for the jets.
