FLY Leasing's Boeing 737-800 fleet has reached 55 units with the lessor's acquisition of a 2008-vintage example.
The lessor says the jet is on lease to a European carrier.
"We are on track to invest $750 million in aircraft acquisitions this year, on top of strong fleet growth in both 2013 and 2014," says FLY chief Colm Barrington.
"Our strategy of seeking out the most attractive acquisition opportunities is adding further value to our fleet."
