India’s HAL names new managing director of Nasik MiG complex

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) has appointed S Subrahmanyan as managing director of its Nasik MiG complex.

In his role at Nasik, Subrahmanyan will focus on subsequent new projects at the MiG complex. The MiG complex comprises of four divisions - aircraft, engine, aircraft overhaul and the Sukhoi engine.

Prior to his appointment, Subrahmanyan served as chief of projects at the company's helicopter division in Bangalore.

Subrahmanyan joined HAL as a management trainee and has held different positions in the company's Helicopter complex, MiG complex, Bangalore complex and corporate planning department.

HAL is India's state-owned aircraft manufacturer and the largest supplier of aerospace parts and components in the country.
