Taiwan’s Eva Air is to lease a pair of Airbus A330-300 aircraft from Intrepid Aviation.

The aircraft will be delivered in late 2015, confirms the US operating lessor.

Intrepid Aviation already has Asian exposure on its A330 orderbook with China Airlines, Skymark Airlines, Asiana Airlines and Sichuan Airlines.

The lessor also has a pair of A330s committed to Cebu Pacific Air. The first is to be delivered later this month, Flightglobal’s Ascend Fleets database shows. The second aircraft is scheduled for 2015.

“We are delighted to continue our business partnership with Eva Air and look forward to growing our customer base further into Asia,” says Colin Bole, Intrepid’s chief commercial officer.

Intrepid has contracted seven A330s to be delivered in 2015, marking the end of the lessor’s current A330 programme.

Its first 777-300ERs will be delivered in 2016. These were ordered at the recent Farnborough air show. Including options, the 777 programme will stretch to 2018.
