The Israeli air force halted training flights for a day after a Lockheed Martin F-16I pilot suffered a bout of vertigo or spatial disorientation on 25 March.

The incident occurred during a sortie from Hazerim air base, while the two-seat combat aircraft was over the Mediterranean. After the pilot lost control, the weapons system operator took over and landed the aircraft safely.
