Japan Airlines (JAL) plans to launch a new domestic service and raise the frequencies of other services from 31 March.
It will launch a daily Tokyo Haneda-Nagoya service, and resume its services from Osaka Itami to Matsuyama, Hakodate and Misawa. The carrier says that it will operate thrice daily to Matsuyama, and daily to Hakodate and Misawa.
The Oneworld alliance member will also raise frequencies of 13 domestic services.
It will add a daily service on routes from Osaka Itami to Sapporo, Sendai, Hanamaki, Niigata, Oita and Miyazaki, while its Osaka Itami-Fukuoka service will increase from twice to five times daily.
Frequencies of services from Tokyo Haneda to Okinawa and Sapporo will be raised to 14 and 18 times daily respectively.
Meanwhile, an additional daily service will be added to the Sapporo-Hanamaki, Fukuoka-Matsuyama, and Kagoshima to Matsuyama and Yakushima routes.
The Osaka Kansai-Seoul Gimpo service, however, will be reduced from twice daily to daily, adds the airline.
