Korean Air will add nine additional aircraft to its fleet during 2013.

The SkyTeam carrier says that it will introduce two Airbus A380s, one A330-200, two Boeing 777-300ERs and two 737-900ERs. It will also add two freighters - one Boeing 747-8F and one 777F.

The additional A380s will be delivered in July and October. The airline will use the aircraft on its Seoul Incheon-Atlanta route in August. Once they are delivered, the airline's A380 fleet size will increase to eight aircraft.

The airline adds that it is will receive 53 aircraft by 2018, including five 747-8Is, 10 787-9s and 10 Bombardier CS300s.
