Malaysia Airlines confirms that it has lost contact with flight MH17 from Amsterdam.
"The last known position was over Ukrainian airspace," the carrier posted on Twitter. "More details to follow."

Boeing says it is "aware of reports on MH17" and is "gathering more information".
Flightglobal's Innovata schedules show MH17 is a daily flight operated by a Boeing 777-200ER.
