Russian cargo specialist Volga-Dnepr Group has tentatively agreed to acquire another 20 Boeing 747-8 freighters.
Volga-Dnepr has a 747-8 fleet operated by its AirBridge Cargo division.
Deliveries of the aircraft take place over the next seven years, says Boeing, through a mix of purchase and leasing.

The agreement also includes further co-operation in the logistics sector with Boeing making greater use of Volga-Dnepr’s Antonov An-124 fleet.
Boeing disclosed the 747-8F memorandum of understanding at the Paris air show. The aircraft are exclusively powered by General Electric GEnx engines.
AirBridge already has six 747-8Fs in its fleet. Volga-Dnepr also has eight other 747 freighters, plus 10 An-124s and five modernised Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VDs, as well as three Boeing 737-400Fs.
Boeing says that the associated logistics pact will “further serve” its needs in aviation equipment transport.
