More Searcher II and BirdEye-400 unmanned air systems are being readied for delivery to Russia by Israel Aerospace Industries' Malat division.
Deliveries have already started under a $400 million contract signed last year, but what is believed to be the first image of a Russian-liveried Searcher II emerged on 23 May.
Russian requests for a possible purchase of additional types of Israeli-made UAS are being "studied from all aspects" by the Israeli defence ministry, sources said. A special unit will consider the "full range" of Israeli interests, they add.
