Qatar Airways is to operate an all-business Airbus A319, configured with just 40 seats, on its London Heathrow route from mid-May.
The Doha-based carrier is offering the additional daily service to complement its regular five-times daily link to the UK hub.
Qatar Airways says the flight will allow passenger to "experience complete comfort and privacy".
“The Doha-Heathrow route is one of Qatar Airways’ most popular international routes and it was only fitting that we introduce an all-business class service on this key route," says chief executive Akbar Al Baker.
Seats on the aircraft will convert to fully-flat beds and the interior will also feature the airline's Oryx in-flight entertainment system.
Addition of the A319 flights will bring to 42 the number of weekly services that Qatar Airways operates to Heathrow, the main base of its Oneworld alliance partner British Airways.
