Peru has received the last three of six Mil Mi-171Sh transports ordered last year via Russia's Rosoboronexport arms agency, with the aircraft having been transferred during September.
As with a previous batch delivered in May, the helicopters were flown to Latin America from the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant aboard an Antonov An-124 cargo aircraft.
"All three helicopters successfully passed acceptance tests, and the Ministry of Defence of Peru accepted the rotorcraft for operation," said Russian Helicopters.
They will now enter use with the nation's air force for tasks including providing support to counter-narcotics activities.
