Singapore Airlines’ budget subsidiary Scoot has announced that it will fly to Hong Kong starting 15 November.
The carrier will initially launch five times weekly services and increase this frequency to daily in December, although the date for that increase has not yet been set. The services will be flown with a Boeing 777-200.
Hong Kong is the 12th destination for Scoot, which has a network that covers destinations in Australia, China and other countries in Asia.
Innovata schedules show that the airline will compete with carriers including Cathay Pacific, Jetstar Asia and Tigerair on the route.
