Xian Aircraft has delivered two MA600F freighter aircraft to its first customer of the type - Yemen's ministry of transport.
These two aircraft will be deployed to Felix Airways, which is partly owned by the government, and used for the export of local produce, says AVIC. This is the first time Xian Aircraft has secured a customer in the Middle East.
At the same time, Yemen's ministry of transport also inked an order for six MA60 family aircraft.
The MA600F is produced on the same assembly line as the MA600, but its key difference is its larger cargo door on the starboard side of the fuselage near the tail.
The MA600 is an upgraded version of the MA60.
