French flight-training device (FTD) manufacturer Alsim has secured its first North American customer, with delivery of an AL200MCC FTD to Sky Wings Aviation Academy in Penhold, Alberta. The reconfigurable device, with 180°-wide visual system and dual controls, will be used by the Canadian flight school to provide turboprop training. Alsim opened an office in Montreal this year to serve the North American market.
