With respect to the "Staff travelling in business class issue" and Mr Kean's response, I feel that Mr Seed's remarks invite comment.

Mr Kean was clearly not expecting an upgrade when business seats are empty. Neither did he specify "pilots" when he referred to "staff".

Mr Seed made the interesting analogy of steak versus spam. However, we in business class feel we have paid for fillet steak but received spam when we find that we are sitting in the aerial equivalent of a crew bus.
