Muirhead Aerospace (Hall 3/B1) is one of the UK's oldest and most innovative aerospace companies. Founded more than 100 years ago, the company was the first in the world to create a mechanical fax machine around 40 years ago.
Working with partners from around the world, it is involved in the design and manufacture of precision electro-mechancial actuators, linear and rotary transducers and sensors. It also offers a wide-range of test equipment, instruments and hydraulic equipment.
Ken Appleby, Muirhead Vactric's market research consultant, says: "If someone has a piece of kit they want to develop with the tightest of specifications, to fit into the least amount of space, with the most challenging performance specification, they come to us."
