Mikado Capital, a new Icelandic company, has acquired four Dornier 328Jets and placed options for a further three aircraft from 328 Jet Support Services. The aircraft, part of a fleet of 60 328Jets and 328 turboprops parked at Myrtle Beach, Florida are to be outfitted in executive configurations at 328 Support Services’ Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany base. Work has begun on the first two aircraft, which were previously operated by Atlantic Coast Airlines. The first aircraft will have a 19-seat configuration and delivered next month to 328 Support Services sister company and UK charter operator and maintenance provider Club 328Jet. The second will be fitted with the 14-seat VIP Envoy interior. Two more aircraft will be ferried to Oberpfaffenhofen shortly.
