A Boeing 747-200 freighter operated by Israeli freight carrier Cargo Air Lines was damaged on 5 March when its nose gear collapsed during routine pre-flight maintenance at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport. The incident happened as technicians of the Bedek division of Israel Aircraft Industries checked a main landing gear door actuator, and is thought to have been caused by the release of the locking pin in the nose gear.
