For a better view of Singapore, check out Space Imaging (Hall C/310) at the show.

The company has a colour photograph of the island's business district taken with the Ikonos satellite, orbiting 681km above the earth. Ikonos was the world's first 1m (3ft) resolution, commercial Earth imaging satellite, meaning it allows customers to distinguish objects on the Earth's surface as small as one metre in size. Space Imaging's customers are numerous, and include forestry, fire and ecosystem organisations; national and global security companies; airports and harbours; plus local, regional and federal governments.

The images can also be used for agricultural monitoring, disaster assessment, environmental planning, oil and gas exploration, insurance and risk management, mapping, telecommunications and utilities planning, real estate development, entertainment and media.

And if you really like the shot of Singapore, you can buy your own copy online at www.spaceimaging.com.
