A screen that stands out in the sun

Permac Electronics (Hall 1, C3) is marking its Farnborough debut with the launch of an advanced all-weather PC screen technology.

"The Tflex Monitor is the only fully sunlight readable screen in the world," says commercial director Bob Lacey. "We can manufacture the screen in 12 and 15 inch sizes. It's fully impact resistant, has wide lateral visibility and features a back light for cockpit use."

Along with its partner Amptec Research, Permac will also launch the new 620UK Explosive Ordnance Safety Igniter Circuit Tester.

Designed to comply with the European ATEX directives and UK defence standards the 620UK provides safe testing of missile warheads and rocket motors squibs in explosive and volatile atmospheres.
