The first of four Airbus A318s destined for Romanian flag carrier Tarom is being prepared for delivery at the manufacturer's Hamburg Finkenwerder plant. The airline ordered the CFM International CFM56-powered twinjets in April 2004 - its first Airbus narrowbodies - for operation on medium-haul routes from its Bucharest base.
