Airbus has selected Goodrich to supply the evacuation slides for the A380 large aircraft. The programme is worth up to $400 million over 20 years, says the US company, which has also been selected to develop the main landing gear for the aircraft and the fuel delivery system for Rolls-Royce's A380 powerplant, the Trent 900.
