AAI HAS won an almost $12 million US Air Force contract for engineering and manufacturing development of the Joint Service Electronic Combat Systems Tester (JSECST).
The JSECST programme is a joint US Air Force/Navy effort to acquire rugged, portable diagnostic equipment for testing aircraft electronic-warfare systems.
The three-year programme is intended to produce equipment to test electronic-combat systems on aircraft such as McDonnell Douglas F-15Cs and F-18s, says Hunt Valley, Maryland-based AAI.
