AAR has signed a five-year contract with Atlanta-based regional airline ExpressJet to overhaul the landing gear on its fleet of 104 Embraer 145 aircraft.
The MRO will perform the work at its 180,000ft2 landing gear overhaul facility in Miami.
"It's rewarding for an industry leader such as ExpressJet to recognise our extensive experience with the ERJ-145 landing gear, as well as our ability to meet their rigorous quality and program requirements," says Pastor Lopez, vice-president, aircraft components and landing gear at AAR.
