Ran Ronen has joined AAR of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, as senior consultant, representing the company with governments in the Middle East, Europe and the Far East. Ronen spent 27 years with the Israeli Air Force, where he retired with the rank of Brigadier General, and, for three years until 1992, he was Consul General of the State of Israel for the southwestern USA. AAR Oklahoma has appointed Russell Beahm director of quality assurance. He will manage all quality operations and will ensure that FAA regulations continue to be complied with. Most recently, Beahm was senior manager for quality assurance and engineering for Ryder Aviall of Dallas, Texas.
William Bailey was appointed vice-president of operations for AAR Corporation, and Jim Clark general manager for the corporation's Netherlands aircraft-components maintenance centre - not for AAR Allen Group International as stated in Flight International, 23-29 August.
