ACR Industries, making its debut appearance at Farnborough, is showing off the main rotor transmission assembly for the new McDonnell Douglas MD 600 single engine helicopter.

The American firm can be found in Hall 2/A35A, and claims to be the largest and fastest-growing privately owned gearbox manufacturer. Helicopter transmissions and accessory gearboxes for turbine engines is this firms' forte.

Also on display at the stand is the accessory gearbox for the GE 414 engine in the US Navy's new McDonnell Douglas F/A-18E/F fighter aircraft.

ACR is at the air show in an effort to capitalise on market potential in Europe.
