Adam Aircraft unveiled its M-309 six-seat pressurised light twin and started taking delivery positions on the aircraft, set to enter service in 2003. Designed by Burt Rutan, the carbon fibre aircraft is powered by two Teledyne Continental TSIO-550 piston engines offering a maximum cruise speed of 250kt (460km/h), and a range of 2780km (1,500nm). The first conforming prototype is set to fly within 12 months.
