Rolls-Royce Turboméca has flown the first Adour 106 in a Sepecat Jaguar. Existing Adour 104s used in Royal Air Force Jaguars will be upgraded to 106 standard. The first flight of a Jaguar fitted with two 106s is set for this year, with certification due in the third quarter. The Adour 106 combines the Adour 871 of the BAE Systems Hawk with the afterburner from the Adour 811 used on export Jaguars.
