Dutch aircraft leasing and asset management company AerCap has agreed to acquire Miami-based AeroTurbine for an undisclosed sum, subject to regulatory approval. AeroTurbine specialises in aftermarket commercial aircraft engine and part sales, as well as engine trading and leasing. AerCap says the deal will give it a competitive advantage in managing midlife and older aircraft, and allow it to offer a wider range of services to customers.
