Switzerland's Aceair unveiled its two-seat tandem Aeris 200 kitplane. Designed to comply with European Joint Airworthiness Requirement JAR 23 certification standards, the pusher prop features a canard and T-tail, removable wings and provision for a ballistic recovery parachute. Zurich-based Aceair plans to start flight testing in January 2001. The all-composite Aeris is powered by a 78kW (105hp) Mid-West AE110 rotary engine, driving a three-blade constant-speed propeller.
