Sabena Technics has been awarded a contract to overhaul and upgrade two ex-Delta Air Lines A310-300s, which are to be leased to Aeroflot. The aircraft will be stripped, painted refurbished and C-checked. The contract also calls for the A310s' maximum take-off weight to be increased to 164t, and the addition of two centre tanks in the rear cargo hold to increase fuel capacity.
