Aeroflot has introduced the first of three Airbus A321s it has ordered on to its European routes. The CFM International CFM56-powered twinjet is one of 16 A320 family aircraft in service with the Russian carrier. Aeroflot has also purchased five additional Tupolev Tu-154Ms to join the 20 it already has in service and has reached agreement with Ilyushin-Finance to lease six further Ilyushin Il-96-300s to add to the six it now operates.
