Aerolineas Argentinas will officially join the SkyTeam alliance tomorrow in a ceremony in Buenos Aires.
Argentina's flag carrier first signed an agreement to become a member of the alliance in November 2010, and will become the 18th airline in the alliance after it joins.
Aerolineas Argentinas will be the second Latin American airline in SkyTeam, which already counts Aeromexico as a member.
SkyTeam added Middle East Airlines and Saudi Arabian Airlines as members this year, and will add China's Xiamen Airlines as a member on 15 November. Garuda Indonesia is also in line to become a member, with full entry to be completed by early 2014.
