Aeromedic Innovations has been selected by UK charter carrier Britannia Airways as manager of its on-board medical kits.

The three-year agreement, which follows hot on the heels of a deal with BMI British Midland, calls for Aeromedic to provide full service management of three types of kits for use on Britannia services ranging from European charter flights to its long-haul destinations in Thailand, Brazil and the West Indies. The UK company will take responsibility for the full programme, including kits developed by other suppliers, providing a single source for the airline.

Aeromedic recently contracted to supply and manage medical kits on BMI¹s Airbus A330-200 long-haul fleet deployed on its new transatlantic service between Manchester and Washington DC and Chicago.
